Winter Weather Advisory Issued Across Eastern PA As Storm Moves In
A winter weather advisory will be in place across Eastern Pennsylvania as the next round of winter weather moves through.

A winter weather advisory has been issued across Eastern Pennsylvania as the next round of winter weather is predicted to move through over the weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued the advisory, which will be in place across Eastern Pennsylvania from 3 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
The incoming storm is expected to bring a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, which could make roads icy and lead to hazardous travel. Up to 2 inches of snow is possible in the Philadelphia region, with a quarter inch of ice also possible.

Precipitation could begin as early as Saturday afternoon, with the bulk of the impacts coming at night and overnight, ending by sunrise. Precipitation could start as light snow before changing over to a wintry mix Saturday evening and overnight, the National Weather Service said.
"While there remains some uncertainty in the exact timing of precipitation types, the main takeaway remains the same: wintry precipitation will lead to icy and slippery conditions Saturday evening through early Sunday morning," the National Weather Service said in its most recent briefing, issued Friday afternoon.
