7 Wissahickon HS Students Named National Merit Finalists

AMBLER, PA — Wissahickon continues to produce some of the best of the best across the nation.

Seven Wissahickon High School students have been named National Merit Scholarship Finalists, and will now be placed under consideration to receive one of the roughly 7,000 scholarships made available to students across the country.

Finalists from Wissahickon include Nathan Antonio, Ava Luu, Kevin Lobo, Olivia Seo, Tiffany Liu, Anoosha Shukla, and Ashley Park.

Nationwide, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation selected Wissahickon's seven along with some 15,000 other students as finalists.

The finalists were chosen from a pool of 1.5 million eligible students.

Last year's program disbursed around 7,140 scholarships and $28 million in scholarship money.
