Plane Carrying 4 People Crashes In Montgomery Co. Sunday
The small plane crashed off to the side of the runway Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — No one was injured after a small plane with four occupants crashed in Montgomery County on Sunday.
The incident occurred at around 2:44 p.m. at Wings Field Airport, located on 1501 Narcissa Road in the Blue Bell section of Whitpain Township.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash. The aircraft skittered into the grass after landing, authorities said.

When emergency responders arrived they found the plane in the grass off to the side of the runway.
Both Centre Square Fire Company and Plymouth Community Ambulance responded to the scene.

The FAA was notified of the crash and is investigating.
The crash briefly shut down the runway, which was reopened later in the afternoon.
