Ambler Man, 75, Hits Victim in Head, Charged With Assault: Police

An Ambler man has been charged with simple assault after he allegedly hit someone in the head Nov. 16, police said.
Frank M. Damore, 75, of the 100 block of Edgewood Drive, was arrested at 2:16 p.m. Nov. 16 after police responded to a domestic assault, police said.
Police learned the Damore allegedly hit the victim in the head, police said. He was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge John Kessler, police said.
Damore was later released on his own recognizance, police said.
