Ambler’s Art in the Storefront Opens New Gallery Show
Ambler Artist Lynennette Shelley will have an opening reception at the Art in the Storefront gallery on Friday.
The Art in the Storefront Gallery, located at 41. E. Butler Ave. in Ambler, will hold an artist’s reception Friday, from 5:30 – 7 p.m., featuring local artist Lynnette Shelley.
According to a previous Patch article on the artist, Shelley moved to Ambler in 2010. She describes her work as, “contemporary mixed-media interpretations of animals, folklore and mythology.”
“I am intrigued by world culture and ethnic arts of various countries, and I like to use those influences in a more modern way,” Shelley told Patch. “In particular, I am interested in archetypes and using animals as symbolic elements.”

The Art in the Storefront is a public, outdoor art gallery, located in a renovated historic site of downtown Ambler. The Friday artist’s reception will include refreshments.
