'Breast Ride Ever' In Montco To Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness
The 24-hour stationary bike ride is designed to raise money for breast cancer research.

SPRING HOUSE, PA — A new fitness business in this Montgomery County community will be hosting an upcoming charity event designed to benefit breast cancer research and support organizations whose mission is to raise awareness about the disease.
SPENGA in Spring House will be putting on "The Breast Ride Ever" event in conjunction with Breast Friends of Bucks County on Oct. 15 and 16, a 24-hour stationary fitness bike challenge that will raise money for breast cancer during October, which is designated Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The goal with the event is to accumulate 1,000 miles of stationary bike riding, with those participating pledging certain dollar amounts per mile of riding.

The leadership team at SPENGA says it will assure that at least one stationary bicycle is kept in motion for the full 24 hours, while at the same time contributing 330 miles of the overall 1,000-mile goal, according to a news release about the upcoming charitable event.
The program will also be held live on the SPENGA Facebook page, the business stated.

SPENGA bills itself as an "unrivaled fitness experience" unlike any other gym or studio of its kind, according to its website.
The business says its unique concept combines spin cycling, strength training and yoga into its fitness sessions, offering participants a "multi-sensory experience with space dedicated specifically to each element of the workout, invigorating aromatherapy and workouts fueled by energizing DJ-inspired beats."
SPENGA, located at 1107 North Bethlehem Pike in the Spring House Village Shopping Center (Lower Gwynedd Township), opened its doors back in February of this year.
The studio is owned by Eric Rothstein.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual campaign held each October to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.
It is a program of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
