Chewy's Philly Food Truck To Open Spring House Restaurant
The gourmet and wildly popular food truck is getting a brick and mortar location.
SPRING HOUSE, PA — One of the region's most beloved food trucks is getting a brick and mortar location in Spring House.
Chewy's Philly Food Truck specializes in smoked meats, fried chicken, pickled items, and much more.
They say they hope to open their new location, on 924 Bethlehem Pike, in mid-April. Renovations are already well underway, with a new business sign on the side of the building and an interior with a remodeled diner counter. The exterior has also been painted orange.

"If you build it they will come," Chewy's founder Charlie Sokowski said.
Sokowski opened his truck in 2011. He said he was inspired by both family recipes, other kitchens he'd worked in, and his travels around the country.

An eclectic menu bears that out: visitors can grab a staple like chicken and waffle, a shrimp taco, a vegan smoked veggie sandwich, or any one of a wide variety of speciality burgers. A South Philly sandwich with wiz is on the breakfast menu.
The new Chewy's location is the site of the former Rich’s Other Place.
