Lower Gwynedd Man Ejected in Whitpain Crash, Police Say

A Lower Gwynedd man was rushed to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment after he was ejected from a vehicle in a one-car crash on Morris Road Dec. 29.
Timothy Campbell, 25, of the 700 block of Pen Ambler Road, was driving a BMW in the 500 block of Morris Road at 2 a.m., when he hit a utility pole, police said. He was ejected and an officer responding to the scene found Campbell on the ground behind his car, police said.
Campbell was taken to the hospital by Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, police said.
Morris Road was closed between Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike and Lewis Lane for several hours due to Verizon repairs to the utility pole, police said.
