Your guide to the municipal and school board elections Tuesday.

Here's all you need to know for the Tuesday municipal elections.

MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

Ambler Borough
Ward One: Two open seats

Incumbent Republican Francine Tomlinson will fight to retain her seat against three other challengers: Republican Carol Ann DiPietro and Democrats Nancy Deininger and Sharn McCormick. Incumbent Tom Kenney is not seeking re-election.

Ward Two: Two open seats
Incumbent Republican Paul Dooley's name will appear on the ballot for the election, but Dooley is out of the race, as he is moving out of the borough. Thus, his seat is up for grabs.
Incumbent Republican Pat Strus is up for re-election, and will battle Democrats Richard Palumbo and Jonathan Sheward.

Ward Three: One open seat
Incumbent Democrat Ed Curtis will fight to retain his seat on council against challenger Republican Stephen Frustaci and Green Party member Thomas Alba.

Lower Gwynedd Township
Uncontested

Incumbent Republicans Dr. J. Richard Booth and Stephen Paccione are seeking re-election. They have no opposition. Paccione received a write-in during the Primary on the Democratic ballot.

Incumbent tax collector Betty Lou Yost has no opposition.

Whitpain Township
Two open seats

Board of supervisors President Joe Palmer is not seeking re-election, so his seat is one of two up for grabs Tuesday. Three are vying for the two open seats, including incumbent Republican Adam Zucker. Other challengers are Republican Matthew Maguire and Democrat Ken Wollman. 

Incumbent tax collector Patty Nelson has no opposition.

Wissahickon School Board
Four open seats

Seven candidates are vying for the four open seats on the Wissahickon School Board.
Incumbent board president Republican Young Park is up for re-election, along with incumbent Republican Richard Stanton.
Others vying for the seats are Republicans Joe Honeycutt and Mary Anne Noon, and Democrats Sherri Becker, Tracie Walsh and Ron Stoloff.
