Montco Uber Driver Groped, Followed Woman After Late Night Pickup: DA
Just after the 2 a.m. pickup, the man grabbed her breast, tried to kiss her, and then followed her up to her home, police said.

WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — An Uber driver groped and harassed a woman while driving a woman home late at night in Montgomery County last month, the district attorney's office said on Friday.
The incident occurred on Feb. 10 at around 1:38 a.m. in Whitpain Township.
The Uber driver, Robert Corcoran, 61, of West Chester, picked up the victim and her male friend, and dropped the man off first, police said.

When Corcoran arrived at her home and the woman got out of the car, Corcoran followed her and attempted to kiss her, then grabbed at her and tried to hug her as she ran inside, police said.
Police commended the victim for texting her sister as the assault was occurring and for getting the vehicle's driver license as she fled.
Authorities said they were able to track Corcoran with that information, and match it to his Uber profile.
Corcoran was charged with indecent assault and harassment. He turned himself in to Whitpain police on Thursday, March 6, and was released on $25,000 bail on the condition he have no contact with the victim.
A preliminary hearing is set for March 20.
