Norristown Man Steals $68 in Groceries from Giant, Police Say

The incident occurred Sept. 24 at 9:23 p.m., police said.

Whitpain Township Police said a Norristown man was arrested for summary retail theft Sept. 24 at 9:23 p.m. for allegedly stealing groceries from Giant Food Store.
Police said Amadeo Santana, 25, of the 100 block of Arch Street, allegedly placed $68.50 worth of groceries in a reusable bag from the store at 1760 DeKalb Pike and left without paying for them.
