North Wales Woman Injured in SEPTA Bus Crash on Penllyn Pike

Debra Kibler, 54, was involved in an accident involving three vehicles near Lantern Lane on Oct. 10, police said.

A SEPTA bus, an Oldsmobile Bravada and a Jeep were all involved in a crash on Penllyn Pike near Lantern Lane Oct. 10, which injured a North Wales woman, Whitpain Township Police said.
On Oct. 10 at 9:19 a.m., officers responded to the three-vehicle crash. An investigation determined an Oldsmobile Bravada, driven by Debra Kibler, 54, of North Wales, was traveling north on Penllyn Pike and had stopped to turn left onto Lantern lane, police said.
A SEPTA bus behind the Bravada was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision, and swerved into the oncoming lane, police said. The bus still hit the rear of the Bravada, police said.
When the SEPTA bus swerved into the other lane, it caused an unidentified driver of a Jeep coming in the opposite direction to swerve out of the way, police said. The Jeep then hit a utility pole, police said.
Kibler was taken by Second Alarmer's Rescue Squad to Abington Hospital for treatment, police said.
