Route 309 Road Rage Shooting Suspect Arrested: State Police
The man first swerved his vehicle into another car, then pulled out a gun and fired several shots, police said.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A man wanted for a road rage shooting in Montgomery County in May has been captured, according to authorities and media reports.
Walter Boone, 31, of Philadelphia, faces numerous charges including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. on May 13 on Route 309 in Springfield Township.

It's not clear what sparked the incident. Boone attempted to swerve his car into another vehicle, according to NBC Philadlephia.
A short time later he pulled out a gun and shot at the other vehicle several times, hitting the car but not the driver, 6ABC reports.

Boone then crashed his vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
Police identified him as the suspect in June, and Pennsylvania State Police and Philadelphia Police took him into custody Tuesday, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
