2 Ardmore Roads Closing For SEPTA Station Work

Portions of Station and Anderson avenues in Ardmore will be closed fully due to work on the Ardmore Train Station Improvement Project.

ARDMORE, PA — Station and Anderson avenues in the Ardmore section of Lower Merion Township will be closed due to work on SEPTA's Ardmore Train Station Improvement Project, officials said.

These closures will begin at 6 a.m. Monday. The roads will reopen at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 16, according to officials.

Station Avenue will be closed from Lancaster Avenue/Route 30 and Anderson Avenue.

Anderson Avenue will close between Coulter and Lancaster avenues. Anderson Avenue will stay open between Coulter and Montgomery avenues.

No vehicle will be permitted within the closure area. This includes parking, deliveries, drop-offs, and trash collection, officials said. Drivers should seek alternate routes and plan travel accordingly.

Pedestrian access will be maintained along the already open sidewalks on Station and Anderson avenue during the construction period.
