4 Health Violations For Penn Wynne Elementary School: Officials

Violations include insects inside a light shield and unclean walk-in cooler fan guards, per health department records.

WYNNEWOOD, PA - Penn Wynne Elementary School in Wynnewood has accrued four violations from the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, according to its latest inspection report.

The inspection, dated Jan. 20, noted violations ranging from insects inside a light shield in the warewashing room to unclean fan guards in the walk-in cooler.

Other violations included an unclean splash guard in an ice machine and a leaking hand sink faucet in the dish room.

January’s inspection marks the highest number of violations the school has accrued during a single inspection, according to available records. The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services has inspections dating back to April 15, 2021 available online. No violations were reported on April 15, 2021; Oct. 22, 2021 or April 1, 2022 inspections.

A previous inspection on Oct. 11 noted one violation: a lack of a covered wastebasket in a unisex and/or women’s bathroom.
