WYNNEWOOD, PA — A popular smoothie and açaí bowl chain is expanding with a new location on the Main Line.
Playa Bowls, founded by Jersey shore surfer natives Robert Giuliani and Abby Taylor in Bellmawr, will open a new location in the Wynnewood Shopping Center this year.
The new location is set to open in the fall.

Playa Bowls is a popular açaí bowl and smoothie concept known for its offerings such as acai bowls, pitaya bowls, and smoothies.

The shop will occupy a 1,360-square-foot location adjacent to Pure Barre.
This marks the second Playa Bowls location on the Main Line, following the success of their Wayne location, bringing the brand to the Wynnewood community.
The new location will be operated by Brandon Tieu and Anshuman Parikh, who run 10 other Playa Bowls locations across Pennsylvania.
