Ardmore Civic Leader Publishes Second Book
"Aron's Adventures" follows the exploits of a young inventor.
Nahjee Grant is a busy man. He’s the president of the Ardmore Progressive Civic Association; a member of Lower Merion School District’s Committee to Address Race in Education; and founder of the ACES Initiative. Oh, and he’s also just published his second children’s book this year.
"Aron’s Adventures: Coloring and Activity Book" was written by Grant and illustrated by Maurice Jackson Jr. of Philadelphia. The book has a corresponding interactive website, www.aronsadventures.com, with downloads and video messages from Aron, a young inventor.
“Aron loves science and technology,” Grant said. “Follow Aron on his quest for knowledge and adventure through exploring new inventions.”
Grant dedicated the book to Daood Walker of Bryn Mawr, who was killed in a car accident in 2006. Walker’s “dreams and aspirations were cut short,” Grant said.
