'Ardmore Night' To Officially Open Revamped Living Room Music Venue
The new location of The Living Room and the new Cricket Cafe are hosting a grand opening and open house event on Nov. 4. See details here.
ARDMORE, PA — Ardmore's The Living Room is getting ready for its grand-reopening by hosting an "Ardmore Night."
At 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, a ribbon cutting will be held at the new location of The Living Room, 104 Cricket Ave. in Ardmore.
Then an open house event will start at 5:30 p.m., with free menu samples and beverages from Cricket Café, and door prizes contributed by Merion Art, Rowen clothing shop, Shade & Seeker Beauty Studio, and other Ardmore businesses.

Laura Mann, a singer-songwriter, massage therapist, and Ardmore resident who owns both The Living Room and Cricket Cafe, has nothing but love for her local community.
"Ever since I opened the original location of The Living Room (at 35 E. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore) in 2018, the community has been so supportive." she said.

That original location was awarded Philadelphia magazine's "Best of Philly" award for Best Small Music Venue, and Main Line Today magazine's "Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs" award for Unique Live Music Venue.
"That's why I wanted to invite local residents, businesses and workers to a special, all-Ardmore celebration of the new location and the debut of Cricket Cafe," she said.
The building at 104 Cricket Avenue in Ardmore that formerly housed Stuard’s Funeral Directors for many years has been transformed into a permanent home for The Living Room, which offers comfortable lounge seating for live music, comedy and other performances with a 150-person capacity, and the adjoining, all-new Cricket Cafe, which offers California-inspired, homemade snacks, light meals, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The Living Room’s first official show will be the band Boris Garcia on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The following week will feature live comedy from Kricket Comedy on Nov. 8, an open mic night hosted by Larry Ahearn on Nov. 9, a jazz night with Chico Huff and Friends on Nov. 10, a solo performance by Eric Bazilian on Nov. 11, and one night with legendary rockers NRBQ on Nov. 12.
