During the confrontation, one suspect took the money bag, while another removed the security officer's Brinks-issued handgun from its holster.
They then demanded the security officer open the Brinks truck, but were unable to gain full access due to the vehicle’s security locking system.
The three suspects then drove from the scene in the silver Honda, heading north on Frankford Avenue.
No injuries were reported and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.
