Bryn Mawr Bank Robbed Second Time
The Wells Fargo Bank on North Bryn Mawr Avenue was struck again Tuesday, three weeks after a suspect demanded money from a teller.

A robber struck a Wells Fargo bank in Bryn Mawr Tuesday, according to 6-ABC, the second time the branch has been robbed in less than a month.
Police told reporters that at approximately 4 p.m. on June 2, an unidentified suspect ran out of the Wells Fargo Bank on North Bryn Mawr Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash after implying he had a weapon.
The same location was robbed in a similar fashion on May 14, when a man gave a black and yellow backpack to two tellers and told them to put money in the bag, according to police.

Police describe the alleged May 14 robber as a black man in his mid-20s, approximately 5’7” tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a black and white Nike hat with a black do-rag underneath, a black Reebok Cross Fit Games t-shirt, khaki pants, dark framed sunglasses and black and white motorcycle style gloves.
According to the FBI, the suspect from the May incident also robbed a Bank of America branch in Plymouth Meeting on Wednesday. Investigator say a black man entered the bank on Plymouth Road shortly before 4 p.m. and demanded money from the teller with a note. He had a semi-automatic pistol, according to information from the FBI, and fired the weapon before fleeing the scene.
