Bryn Mawr Man Who Served In US Army Under General Patton Passes At 93

William H. Lilienthal, Sr., of Bryn Mawr, PA., passed away on November 2, 2016 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was 93.

Son of the late John and Minnie Lutz Lilienthal, he was born on August 5, 1923.

Mr. Lilienthal was a graduate of Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, NJ and of Villanova University. He served in the US Army under General George S. Patton during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of the late F. Elaine Brown Lilienthal. Devoted father of William H. "Rick" Lilienthal, Jr. and the late Maita Lilienthal. Dear brother of the late Edward Lilienthal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 7, 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
