Burglaries, Vehicle Theft, Car Break-Ins: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

Lower Merion Township Police said while investigating a burglary in Overbrook, they discovered another burglary at a nearby home.

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The rear passenger side window of the victim's Mercedes was broken out in the overnight hours while parked along the street near the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 20

  • Theft of Vehicle (Haverford) - The victim's Mercedes was stolen from the driveway of their residence during the overnight hours. The Mercedes was reported to be unlocked with a key fob left inside. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

  • Burglary (Overbrook) - The victim's residence was entered in the overnight hours by removing a screen from a rear window of the property. The victim heard noises coming from the first floor of their residence. The actor(s) fled upon being confronted. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
  • Burglary (Overbrook) - While investigating the above burglary a second burglary was discovered where the victim's residence was entered through an unsecured door. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's unlocked Lincoln was entered and gone through during the overnight hours while parked along the street in front of the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 14

  • Theft from Vehicle (Haverford) - The victim's GMC pickup was stolen from the front parking lot of their apartment complex in the overnight hours. Broken glass was discovered in the parking space where the vehicle had last been seen. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Infiniti sedan was stolen from the street in front of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
