Cat Rescued From Vehicle's Engine Compartment Along Main Line
The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore helped rescue a cat, not from the stereotypical tree, but from the engine compartment of a vehicle.

ARDMORE, PA — A cat was rescued in Ardmore recently, and it wasn't stuck up a tree.
Two members of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore and an employee of Armen Chevrolet leaped into action at about 7 p.m. Saturday outside the dealership on Greenfield Avenue to help a cat that was stuck in a vehicle's engine compartment.
The three were able to safely remove the cat from the compartment.
