Check Trash and Recycling Pickup Days for Week of New Year's
The holidays are prompting adjustments in collection schedules.
In Lower Merion, where different residents have trash and recycling pickup on different weekdays, both services will adhere to a holiday schedule during the week of New Year's Day, with no pickup on Tuesday, Jan. 1.
The township website has information on how to determine your pickup day for trash and for recycling.
In Narberth, mixed paper will be picked up Monday, Dec. 31. Trash will be picked up Friday, Jan. 4.

Christmas tree pickup will begin Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Lower Merion, by the Shade Tree Commission for mulching at the public works complex in Penn Valley. Trees should be free of ornaments.
Trees will be picked up in Narberth from Monday, Jan. 7 to Friday, Jan. 11.
