City Ave Lane Closing Next Week For St Joe's Pedestrian Bridge Project

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Southbound City Avenue in Lower Merion Township will have a lane closure next week due to work on the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge, PennDOT said.

According to the department, a 24-hour weekday right lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1/City Avenue between Cardinal Avenue and Lapsley Lane Monday through Friday next week.

Crews will be doing curb and sidewalk construction as part of the bridge project.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
