City Avenue Lanes Closing In Lower Merion Next Week For Curb Work
Curb construction work will force a 24-hour-a-day lane closure in both directions on City Avenue in Lower Merion Township, PennDOT said.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Next week, a 24-hour lane closure will be in place on City Avenue in Lower Merion and Philadelphia for work on the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, crews will be performing curb construction Monday through Friday next week on City Avenue.
The work will force a 24-hour-a-day lane closure on City Avenue in both directions.

The affected portion of road is between 59th Street and Laplsey Lane.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
