Crime Stats: Assault, Fraud, Robbery

Lower Merion police responded to approximately 326 calls the week ending Dec. 9 throughout Ardmore, Merion Station, Wynnewood, Penn Wynne and Haverford, slightly up from about 312 calls for service received the previous week.

From Dec. 3 to 9, the police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) included:

• 10 domestic disputes
• 1 report of marijuana possession
• 1 DUI
• 3 fires
• 3 cases of fraud
• 2 car accidents with injuries
• 4 cases of public drunkenness
• 1 strong-arm robbery
• 1 simple assault
• 4 reported retail thefts
