Donate School Supplies In Lower Merion To Help Local Students

Many families in the region struggle to equip kids with school supplies. But you can help by donating to Montco's Back to School Drive.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — July is nearly over and that means families in the Philadelphia region will begin planning for kids to return to school.

Unfortunately, many children in the area do not have access to resources needed to thrive in school.

Luckily, Montgomery County is hosting its Back to School Drive, collecting supplies to help support students in need.

And Lower Merion area residents can help the drive at the Lower Merion Police Department.

Now through Aug. 23, residents can drop off various items for donation at the police department.

A donation drop box is located in the Lower Merion Police Department, 71 E. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore. Additionally, items can be dropped off at the Ardmore, Ludington, Bala Cynwyd, and Belmont Hills libraries.
