Elevator Jostle Costs Victim $1,300, Cops Say
A customer of Bed Bath & Beyond in Wynnewood reported her credit cards were stolen.

Two people grabbed credit cards out of a woman's purse on a elevator Tuesday evening and spent about $1,300 before she discovered anything was stolen, Lower Merion police told news media Monday afternoon.
About 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, a woman got on an elevator at the Wynnewood store. On the elevator, she told police, were a thin black man about 6 feet tall and a thin black woman about 5 feet 4 inches tall. They bumped into her, but she noticed nothing amiss, police said, until she got home and found cards missing from her purse.
In the meantime, two credit cards had been used to make about $1,300 in purchases at the in Ardmore, police said.
