Fire Tears Through Ardmore Home

The fire broke out at about 2 a.m. Friday on East Golf View Road and injured one person.

ARDMORE, PA – A house fire in Ardmore injured one person and left crews on scene for several hours as to battle the blaze and clean up the area.

According to the Brookline Fire Company, fire crews responded to a home on the 100 block of East Golf View Road in Ardmore just before 2 a.m. Friday for a smoke detector activation.

When crews from Okamont Fire Company arrived, they found flames spewing from the home's garage and the home itself on fire.

Crews were on scene for about three hours, according to the Brookline Fire Company.

6ABC reports one person suffered a burn on their arm in the fire.
