Gas Main Project to Close Section of New Gulph Road

Crews will close a section of New Gulph Road in Bryn Mawr during daytime hours starting Thursday.

According to a post on Lower Merion Township’s Facebook page, the project will involve the installation or replacement of existing gas main and services. The road will be closed to traffic between Montgomery Avenue and Morris Avenue from April 2 to Monday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Access will be provided for emergency vehicles, school buses, mail, and trash services. Residents will have access to their properties, but at times may need to enter from different directions due to changing work zones.
