- Why Go: This weekend, Suburban Square hosts its signature sidewalk sale. Grab some deals on your favorite brands. The event is hosted all weekend, rain or shine.
- Cost: Free entry
- When/Where: Saturday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at , 45 Haverford Road in Wynnewood
- Why Go: Each year, Alex's Lemonade Stand returns to Penn Wynne Elementary School, where Alex Scott attended, to remember and celebrate children who have been diagnosed with childhood cancer. The day includes a butterfly release, raffles, words from Liz and Jay Scott (Alex's parents), and more.
- Cost: Free entry

- When/Where: Saturday, June 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Brownies 23 East, 23 E Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore
- Why Go: Friends of Linwood Park, writes Kate Galer, "are holding a fundraiser at Brownie's to make money to start the procees of designing the tree platform. If we can get a great design, we can ask people and organizations to help build it." The $30 price tag includes "an open bar for beer and wine, dinner and dessert by Pillsbury bake-off winner Christina Verrelli, music, and fun." .

4th Annual Run For Our Schools
- When/Where: Sunday, June 10 at Harriton High School, 600 N Ithan Ave., Rosemont. On-site registration begins at 7:45 a.m., the race starts at 9 a.m.
- Why Go: The 4th Annual Run For Our Schools, sponsored by the Education Foundation of Lower Merion, includes a 5K run, 1.5-mile walk, "track trot" for kids 7 and under, a fitness fair and more. Proceeds benefit the Education Foundation of Lower Merion.
- Cost: $20 5K/Walk ($25 after June 8), $10 Track Trot ($15 after June 8), and $50 for family registration (must register by June 8; members of the same household only)
- When/Where: Sunday, June 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Schauffele Plaza in Ardmore, 16 E Lancaster Ave.
- Why Go: Learn about green practices and recycle small electronics for free at this eco-event sponsored by State Rep. Tim Briggs and Ardmore Initiative. The event also includes live animals, face painting and a moonbounce.
