ICYMI: Ardmore Named 11th Best Place To Raise A Family In PA

ARDMORE, PA -- Another list is out, and it’s good news for the Main Line.

According to Nerd Wallet, a financial education site, Ardmore is the 11th best place in Pennsylvania to raise a family.

Jefferson Hills, a suburb of PIttsburgh, took home the top spot.

Nerd Wallet accorded the ranking based on three main criteria: affordability, public school quality, and the growth and trajectory of the town.

It’s not the first time the area has received this kind of an accommodation from the wide world of online lists.

Last June, Lower Merion was named among the top suburbs to buy a house in Pennsylvania. It came in 65th overall on that list.

Nearby, Chester County has also been named as one of the happiest places in America.
