Fans of the sandwich chain will find the menu they know and love at the Ardmore store. And yes, they can order their sandwiches "Mike's Way," served with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and "The Juice," a red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend.

Jersey Mike's slices meats and cheeses to order for each sandwich, and bakes its own bread throughout the day. The chain also offers Udi’s gluten-free bread now.

This location will mark the second on the Main Line, with an existing location at 550 E. Lancaster Ave., Suite C2, in Radnor. Thirteen other upcoming Jersey Mike's locations are in the works for Pennsylvania, according to the company.

According to Jersey Mike's, the top-selling sandwich chain wide is the No. 7 Turkey & Provolone, but the biggest fan favorite is the No. 13 Original Italian. When it comes to hot sandwiches offered, the No. 17 Mike's Famous Philly is the biggest seller.

Jersey Mike's started as Mike's Subs in the seaside town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956. In 1975, Peter Cancro, a 17-year-old high school senior who had worked for Mike’s Subs since he was 14, bought the operation with the help of his football coach.

In 1987, Cancro began franchising the Mike’s concept, changing the name to Jersey Mike’s Subs to capture the authenticity of the original store.

Today, there are more than 4,000 locations open and in development.

In April, Cancro announced he was stepping down from the CEO role, 50 years after buying his first sub shop. He remains chairman of the Jersey Mike’s Board of Directors and a significant minority shareholder.

Each March, Jersey Mike’s celebrates its annual “Month of Giving.” The national fundraiser culminates on “Day of Giving,” the last Wednesday of March, when Jersey Mike’s franchise owners donate 100 percent of the day’s sales — not just profit — to local charities across the country. Since 2011, Jersey Mike’s and our generous customers have raised more than $143 million.

In the past four years, Jersey Mike’s has donated nearly $17 million to Feeding America, providing over 170 million meals through the organization’s nationwide network of 200 local partner food banks.

This summer, Jersey Mike’s nationally raised more than $2.67 million for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a charity that set up a relief fund aiding in the rebuilding efforts after the July 2025 Texas floods.

In 2024, Jersey Mike's raised more than $1 million for local community partners including schools, hospitals and other worthy organizations as part of fundraisers to celebrate the openings of 323 new locations across the country.
