Lanes Closing Overnight On Interstate 76 Next Week In Lower Merion
According to PennDOT, lanes will close on Interstate 76 west in Lower Merion and Philadelphia next week for bridge joint sealing operations.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT said work on Interstate 76 west in Lower Merion and Philadelphia next will force overnight lane closures.
Bridge joint sealing operations will begin next week on westbound I-76 under a $37.9 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and more than 20 bridges in Philadelphia and Lower Merion.
According to PennDOT, the lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning Monday through Friday next week.

The lane closures will be in place on westbound I-76 between the Montgomery Drive and U.S. 1 South/City Avenue interchanges.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur.
