Longtime Lower Merion Firefighter Passes Away
Firefighter Bill "Cuddy" Royster has died, according to the Lower Merion Professional Firefighters Association.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA—The Lower Merion Professional Firefighters Association announced the passing of longtime firefighter Bill “Cuddy” Royster Wednesday.
"We lost a true friend in the fire service. We will truly miss you. Rest in peace, Cuddy," the association wrote on its official Facebook page.
Following the announcement, members of the community took to social media to express their condolences.

"Rest in peace, Mr. Royster. My deepest sympathy to his family. Thank you for your service," one person posted.
