Lower Merion Makes Call on After-School Activities

Lower Merion School District has announced what plans are for after-school activities on Tuesday.

“All after school and evening activities at the elementary and middle schools are cancelled for Tuesday, Feb. 17,” the district said.

Certain high school after-school activities will be held as scheduled, the district said; “please check with activity sponsors or the athletics/activities office for the status of specific activities.”

All uses of the facilities Tuesday by outside groups have been cancelled, the district said.

The Board of School Directors meeting, set for 8 p.m. Tuesday, will be held as scheduled, the district said.
