Lower Merion Offering 2 Chances To Recycle Electronics

Lower Merion and Narberth resident can recycle "anything with a plug" on two upcoming dates at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex.

LOWER MERION-NARBERTH, PA — Residents of Lower Merion and Narberth have two upcoming chances to recycle "anything with a plug."

From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and Tuesday, Lower Merion or Narberth residents can safely dispose of various electronics at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex.

Proof of residency is required to use the recycling service.

All items dropped off will be recycled by eForce, which will wipe or destroy all data on items dropped off.

  • typewriters
  • telephones/cell phones
  • cameras
  • calculators
  • peripherals
  • mice
  • small appliances
  • fax machines
  • keyboards
  • printers
  • computers

Other accepted items have a fee to recycle. They are: $30 per CRT, LCD, LED TV or computer monitor; $100 per rear-projection or wood console TV; $10 per air conditioner, dehumidifier, or microwave.

Payment can be made with credit cards.

Smoke detectors and large appliances will not be accepted.

The Lower Merion Township Public Works Complex is located at 1300 Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.
