Man Walking Along I-76 In Lower Merion Found With Drugs: State Police
Pennsylvania State Police said they found drugs and paraphernalia on a man who was walking along Interstate 76 in Lower Merion this month.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man who was found walking along Interstate 76 in Lower Merion Township was in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident began at about 4:44 p.m. June 10 when two troopers saw a man walking on the highway, near mile marker 334.4 in Lower Merion.
Police stopped to talk to the man, identified as a 44-year-old Philadelphia resident, and gave him a routine pat down before driving him off of the highway.

During the pat down, he admitted to possessing drug paraphernalia and using methamphetamine, police said.
Police found a small amount of marijuana on him, as well as 65 pills in an unmarked bottle.

He was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor drug and drug paraphernalia possession.
