Map: Lower Merion Accidents in Late September
More crashes happened in the second half of the month than the first, according to township police.

The interactive map in this article shows every traffic accident reported to Lower Merion police from Sept. 1 through Sept. 29, according to township records. Addresses with street numbers are approximate.
Blue pins denote the 73 accidents reported in the first half of the month; the 87 accidents in the second half of the month are marked with red pins.

The increase in accidents in late September came despite a decrease in rain. The National Weather Service reported 2.09 inches in Philadelphia for Sept. 1-15 and only 1.17 inches for Sept. 16-30.
