Marple Township Tree Lighting Set For Saturday Night
Santa Claus will be on hand for the Marple Township Tree Lighting after he parades around the area Saturday.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — The Marple Township Community getting ready to enter the full holiday swing with its Marple Township Tree Lighting event.
The tree lighting event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday in Veterans Memorial Park.
Guests will be treated to music and refreshments.

Art In Motion dancers and the MN Choir will be providing entertainment for the evening.
Local scout troops will be making edible decoration for the tree.

Mailmen will be on hand to collect letters to Santa, as well.
Local representatives and emergency responders will be at the event to meet with community members.
Santa is expected to arrive at the park at 7 p.m. to help light the tree after his parade. Learn more about the parade online here.
In the event of inclement weather, the tree lighting will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday.
