Merion Mercy's Basketball Season Ends in State Playoffs
The team was District 1's No. 2 seed in the PIAA tournament.
After reaching the state's AAA girls' basketball playoffs, Merion Mercy Academy saw its season end Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Bears, seeded second out of District 1 with a record of 16-10, fell to District 3's third seed, Gettysburg, by a score of 45-36 at Coatesville Area Senior High.
