The Main Line town is one of just a few to make the list of Niche's Best Places to Buy a House In Pennsylvania.

PENN WYNNE, PA – Niche.com, known for its lists ranking towns, schools, colleges, and more, has released a new list of the best places to buy a house in Pennsylvania. The 2017 list features towns all over the Keystone State, but some Main Line areas found their ways to the list.

Penn Wynne, part of Lower Merion Township, made the list, which is based on home values, property taxes, home ownership rates, housing costs, and real estate trends. The ranking is derived from data from the U.S. Census, FBI, and other data sources.

Niche reports the median home in Penn Wynne is $351,100 with median rent at $1,639. Median household income is listed at $104,653.

The top place to buy a house in PA is Houserville, an unincorporated section of Centre County that's just outside of the Penn State campus, made the national list.
