Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride Set For Saturday Evening
The 15th annual ride-protest will focus on body positivity, safe biking infrastructure, and environmentalism.

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride is all set for Saturday and promises to fill the city's streets with scantily clad cyclists looking to spread body positivity, safe biking infrastructure awareness, and environmentalism.
This year's event will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at Glendinning Rock Garden on Brewery Hill Drive.
Participants will conclude the ride at Drexel Park, 3100 Powelton Ave.

For the 2023 ride, traditional chants of "Less Gas More Ass!" and "Every Body is Beautiful!" will be joined by "Paint Will Not Protect Us - Concrete NOW!"
This year’s ride will have a particular focus on safe cycling infrastructure after the recent tragic killing of Dr. Barbara Friedes in July. Friedes was killed by a man accused of driving under the influence and speeding as she rode her bike in an unprotected bike lane on Spruce Street.

Cyclists will ride to protest the inaction of the Parker Administration to protect bike lanes with concrete barriers, and her defunding of Vision Zero.
The Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride is the largest of its kind in the United States.
