Police Blotter: 2 Burglaries in Ardmore
A dirt bike was also stolen, when a man took it for a test drive and never returned.

Lower Merion police related the following incidents to news media on Monday. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
Theft: A victim met a person interested in buying a Yamaha YZ (835) dirt bike on the 1400 block of Suffolk Lane in Penn Wynne, where the interested person said he lived, police said. The man then took the $1,500 bike for a test ride and did not return. The man, described as black, clean shaven, weighing about 200 lbs. with a rounded box haircut, and wearing a black T-shirt, was last seen driving east on Trent Road toward Philadelphia, police said.
Burglary: Sometime between 10 p.m. July 11 and the morning of July 12, someone entered a residence on the unit block of West County Line Road in Ardmore, police said. It appears entrance was gained through a side window, which had been opened and a screen had been torn, police said. A 27-inch LCD TV was stolen, police said.

Burglary: Copper pipe and a hot water heater were discovered stolen July 13 from a residence on the 100 block of Walnut Avenue in Ardmore, police said. The vacant house is currently for sale, police said.
Theft from vehicle: A mountain bike and Magellan GPS unit were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an unlocked attached garage on the unit block of Merion Road in Merion Station sometime overnight from July 13 to 14, police said. The bike was valued at $500, and the GPS was valued at $250, police said.
