Police: Woman Finds Stranger Inside Her Car
Lower Merion police say the man was found sitting in the rear seat and told the driver he thought it was his friend's car.

A woman reported to Lower Merion police a confrontation with a man she found seated in her car parked near the intersection of Old Lancaster and Latches Lane in Merion.
According to the report, the woman parked her black Acura on Old Lancaster Road at 9 a.m. on April 22. When she returned approximately 40 minutes later, she saw a man sitting in the rear passenger seat. When the woman sple to the stranger, he said he thought he was inside his friend’s car.
The report says that she opened the car door and removed the man from the car, and he began to walk away from the scene. The woman initially began to follow him, but he allegedly warned her to stop. When she got back to the car, the woman found her backpack open, but nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Police say the suspect is a six-foot tall black male with short black hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants. He had two teardrop tattoos to the left of his left eye and a small rectangle tattoo on his head between his eyebrows.

April 21, 2015, a truck parked in the driveway of a home on the 400 block of Fishers Road in Bryn Mawr was reported stolen.
The owner told police she left the key inside the vehicle, along with a purse and wallet. The car was later recovered in Upper Darby.
April 22, 2015, a Toshiba Chromebook computer was taken from a car parked in a lot at 555 East City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.
April 23, 2015, a woman reported to Lower Merion police that her credit and debit cards were stolen March 11 while she was at the Corner Bakery on City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. Shortly after leaving the restaurant March 11, the victim reported getting alerts that her cards were being used.
April 23, 2015, employees from Lord and Taylor on City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd reported a retail theft to Lower Merion police.
According to the report, a man and woman left the store with stolen merchandise, headed toward City Avenue on Belmont Avenue.
Store security were watching the couple because they were suspected of stealing from the same store and Lord and Taylor in King of Prussia in the past.
The report says the man was seen taking belts into a dressing room and when he exited the belts could not be seen. When they confronted the man outside the store next to a car, he allegedly pushed a security officer to the ground and they fled.
