Second Huge Development Proposed In Ardmore: Report

This one is right across the street from the now infamous Cricket Avenue parking lot.

ARDMORE, PA - A second massive development has been proposed in Ardmore, just weeks after the most serious obstacle to the Cricket Avenue parking lot project was legally removed, according to a Main Line Media News report.

An application will be considered by the Lower Merion Township Historical Architectural Review Board at their January 5 meeting for a mixed-use building right across the street from the Cricket Avenue parking lot, the report states.

The building, proposed for the parcels from 47-65 Cricket Avenue, would be a mixed retail-residential building which would mostly cover the existing lots, according to the report.

The new building would nearly double the amount of new apartments coming to the block, as 77 are already proposed in the first Cricket Lot development.
