ARDMORE, PA — Next weekend, a portion of Ardmore will be abuzz with music, activities, food, drinks, vendors, and more, as Ardmore Spring Fest takes place.

The festival, which is totally free to attend, will happen from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20 in the municipal parking lot behind John Henry's Pub at 98 Cricket Ave. in Ardmore.

Presented by JFS4 Enterprises and Mirror Image Events, the event will feature four live bands on a main stage, as well as a DJ spinning tunes in between sets.

Set to perform at the festival are Atomic Rock Band (90s and modern music), Melt With You (80s new wave), Sounds of Phoenix (acoustic music), John Valerio Band (current music), and DJ Korvez.

Organizer and Ardmore Business Association board member Brian Cronin told Patch he wanted to have a slate of acts that would please event goers.

Initially, he sought to bring in 90s rock legends Blues Traveler to headline the festival, but said logistics impeded their presence at the event. Cronin is hopeful he can bring in Blues Traveler or another national act for the 2025 Spring Fest.

In addition to live music, the event will feature local businesses. More than two dozen local businesses are sponsoring the event.

For food and drink, Cronin said attendees will find Sophie's BBQ, Primo Hoagies, Jack McShea's, Tired Hands, and John Henry's. John Henry's, Cronin said, will be offering a full bar and draft beers via their beverage truck.

More food and drink purveyors are planning to join the event, he said.

For the little ones, Cronin said the Little Gym of Ardmore will be hosting kids events.

Additionally, the day will feature activities for all ages, such as lawn games like cornhole.

Cronin said the goal of Spring Fest is to grow Ardmore's presence in the region, bringing in visitors, businesses, performers, and more to the bustling suburb.

Limited vendor space is still available. Those interested in being a vendor at the event should email director@ardmorefests.com for rates and details.
