St Joseph's Moves Classes Online, Extends Spring Break
St. Joseph's University said it will start online-only classes March 19 in an effort to protect the community from novel coronavirus.
PHILADELPHIA — St. Joseph's University said Thursday that all its classes will move to an online format beginning next week, joining numerous other area institutions to do so in an effort to protect their communities from novel coronavirus.
The university said the classes will be held online starting March 19.
Online classes will continue through April 9.

Additionally, spring break has been extended trough March 18 to allow the university to prepare for the online switch.
All St. Joseph's offices and residence halls will remain open and services will continue.

University events are cancelled through April 9.
However, intercollegiate athletic activities will continue but with limited or no spectators, as guided by A10 and NCAA decisions.
