Stolen Vehicles, Burglary, Car Break-Ins: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion released recent crime incidents in the township.

Sept. 27

• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's unlocked Honda was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the street in front of the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's Acura was stolen from where it was parked along the street in front of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 26

• Theft of a Bicycle (Wynnewood) - The victim's bicycle was stolen from near the front porch of the victim's residence during the late afternoon hours. The victim observed a male walking away with the bicycle. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft of Vehicle (Ardmore) - The victim's Toyota was stolen from the parking lot of a convenience store where it was left unlocked and running with the keys inside of the vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 23

• Theft from Vehicle (Merion) - The victim's Volvo was entered and gone through overnight while parked in the driveway of the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 21

• Burglary (Penn Wynne) - The victim's residence was entered during the early morning hours through an unsecured rear door to the property. It appears the actor(s) went through the first floor of the residence before leaving out the same rear door. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 19

• Attempted Burglary (Gladwyne) - Multiple actors were seen fleeing a property in Gladwyne. Upon arrival, officers located multiple second story windows were damage and attempts at entry. Entry into the residence does not appear to have been gained. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Honda was entered and gone through while parked in a parking lot for the Cynwyd Trail during the evening hours. Damage was located lock cylinder of the front driver's side door. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 18

• Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's Acura was stolen from where it was parked along the street in front of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
